1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WildCore ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Effective Date" on this page.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to extract source code or underlying algorithms

3. Safety Disclaimers

3.1 Reference Only — Not Professional Advice

WildCore provides survival information for educational and reference purposes only. The information in the App does not constitute professional survival training, medical advice, legal advice, or any other professional service. Always consult qualified professionals and obtain proper training before undertaking wilderness activities.

3.2 Plant Identification — AI Limitations

The plant identification feature uses an on-device AI model (TFLite) that provides probabilistic results. AI plant identification is not 100% accurate and may produce incorrect results.

• Never consume any plant, mushroom, or berry solely based on the App's identification output.
• Many edible plants have toxic look-alikes. Misidentification can result in serious injury or death.
• Always verify identification through multiple authoritative sources and consult a qualified botanist or field guide before consuming any wild plant.

3.3 GPS Accuracy

GPS accuracy depends on your device's hardware, environmental conditions (dense foliage, canyons, weather), and satellite availability. The App cannot guarantee GPS accuracy. Do not rely solely on the App for precise navigation in life-critical situations. Carry physical maps and a compass as backup.

3.4 SOS / Emergency Features

The SOS feature sends an SMS with GPS coordinates to your pre-configured emergency contacts. This feature:

• Requires cellular signal to send SMS
• Requires GPS signal to obtain accurate coordinates
• Is NOT a substitute for calling emergency services (911, 112, etc.)
• Depends on your mobile carrier's coverage in the area

Always attempt to contact official emergency services when possible. The SOS feature is an additional safety measure, not a primary emergency response mechanism.

4. Subscription and Purchases

WildCore may offer premium features through in-app subscriptions or one-time purchases processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. By making a purchase, you agree to the payment terms of the respective platform.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are governed by Apple's or Google's refund policies.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Information provided is accurate, complete, or current
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Defects will be corrected

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Personal injury or death resulting from reliance on App information
• Property damage
• Loss of data or profits
• Decisions made based on plant identification results
• Failure of SOS features due to lack of connectivity or GPS signal
• Navigation errors

YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. You acknowledge that wilderness activities carry inherent risks that no app can eliminate.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App as a supplementary tool, not a primary survival resource
• Obtain proper wilderness survival training from qualified instructors
• Inform others of your plans before entering remote areas
• Carry appropriate physical equipment and emergency supplies
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and land-use rules
• Not use the App for any illegal or harmful activities

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and AI models within the App are the intellectual property of the developer or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

3.4 SOS / 緊急功能

SOS 功能會將含有 GPS 座標的簡訊傳送給您預先設定的緊急聯絡人。此功能：

• 需要行動訊號才能傳送 SMS
• 需要 GPS 訊號才能獲取準確座標
• 不能替代撥打緊急救援電話（如 119、110 等）
• 取決於您的電信業者在該地區的訊號覆蓋

條件允許時，請務必優先聯繫官方緊急救援服務。SOS 功能是額外的安全措施，並非主要的緊急應變機制。

4. 訂閱與購買

WildCore 可能透過 Apple App Store 或 Google Play 處理的應用程式內訂閱或一次性購買來提供進階功能。進行購買即表示您同意各平台的付款條款。

• 除非在續訂日期前至少 24 小時取消，否則訂閱將自動續訂。
• 請透過您的 App Store 或 Google Play 帳戶設定管理和取消訂閱。
• 退款依 Apple 或 Google 的退款政策辦理。

5. 保證免責聲明

本應用程式以「現狀」及「可用狀態」提供，不提供任何明示或暗示的保證，包括但不限於適銷性、特定用途適用性、準確性或不侵權的保證。

6. 責任限制

在適用法律允許的最大範圍內，開發者對任何間接、附帶、特殊、衍生性或懲罰性損害概不負責，包括但不限於：

• 因依賴應用程式資訊而導致的人身傷害或死亡

• 因缺乏網路連線或 GPS 訊號導致 SOS 功能失效
• 導航錯誤

使用本應用程式的風險由您自行承擔。您確認野外活動存在固有風險，任何應用程式都無法消除這些風險。

7. 用戶責任

您同意：

• 將本應用程式作為輔助工具，而非主要求生資源
• 向合格講師接受適當的野外求生訓練
• 進入偏遠地區前告知他人您的行程計畫
• 攜帶適當的實體裝備和緊急補給品
• 遵守所有適用的法律、法規及土地使用規定
• 不將本應用程式用於任何違法或有害活動

8. 智慧財產權

本應用程式中的所有內容、設計、軟體及 AI 模型均為開發者或其授權方的智慧財產。本條款中的任何內容均不授予您任何所有權。

9. 終止

如違反本條款，我們可隨時終止或暫停您使用本應用程式的權限。終止後，您使用本應用程式的授權立即終止。

10. 準據法

本條款受開發者所在司法管轄區的法律管轄，不考慮法律衝突原則。任何爭議應在該司法管轄區的管轄法院解決。
